Energy Sharing Unlimited is an international company founded in 2009. We have set our selves the goal to develop projects for regions worldwide, who envision an energy supply provided for 100% by sustainable energies, manage their implementation and cross-link them with each other. We team up interdisciplinary experts from technology and economy with decision-makers from politics. The goal is to contribute to a future in which energy will be produced from sustainable and ecological sources. Trendsetting technologies cross-link large regions, so that the security of supply is warranted.

S.O.L.I.D. Solar Installations and Design Ltd.

Overview:
S.O.L.I.D. is an Austrian solar engineering company specializing in all aspects of large-scale solar thermal energy plants. Since 1992, S.O.L.I.D. has been planning, building, delivering, assembling and operating large-scale solar plants (exceeding 100 m²) around the world, providing hot water, heating rooms, and supplying process heat, including district heating. S.O.L.I.D. also designs and builds solar chilled water plants, including the largest commercial solar cooling projects currently operating. With its unmatched experience in design and operation of large-scale solar plants, S.O.L.I.D. is both a pioneer and one of the world’s leading companies in the solar industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Telemonitoring and function-control of all large-scale thermal solar plants built by the company
  • Customer support and service
  • Contact with suppliers and partner companies
  • Short-term substitution and support of the general management in aspects of fault removal of solar plants and measurement-data analysis
  • Support of system administration in the operation and expansion of the company’s IT-infrastructure

Achievements:

  • Defining monitoring procedures that helped to accurately find numerous minor and several major faults in the company’s solar plants over the past four years
  • Definition of quality standards for the installation and commissioning of large scale solar plants
  • Selection and testing of sensors to obtain high-quality measuring data
  • Design and implementation of a database to contain all data of the company’s solar plants
  • Definition and design of algorithms to be implemented in a future software to perform fully automated function monitoring and reporting of thermal solar plants
